Peregrine Monolithics are premium non-lead bullets made in South Africa.
Advanced technology using CNC lathes to individually turn each bullet allows the production of extremely versatile and effective hunting bullets that have excellent terminal performance from below 1600fps right through the range of cartridges to over 4000fps.
Peregrine Bullets ride on driving bands or rings that are in relief on the shank of the bullet. This allows for:
-Higher muzzle velocities
-Lower Friction/Heat
-Lower chamber pressures
-Optimised for use with faster powders and shorter barrels
Hunting Bullets VLR4 – “Plains Game” – G7 Profile – High BC, expanding, hunting bullet contructed of solid copper with brass plunger at the tip. The most common and popular choice
VRG3 – “Bushmaster” – Round nose profile, expanding hunting bullet
consructed of solid copper with a flatnose brass plunger at the tip.
The short profile of this bullet is extremely effective at punching through brush/thicket as well as allowing heavy for calibre bullets to stabilise in standard twist rifles
VRG2 /VRG1 – Non Expanding Solids predominantly for Dangerous Game follow up bullets. VRG2 in Solid Copper, VRG1 in Solid Brass
Target Bullets VLR5 – Long Range Rifle – G7 Profile, High BC, non expanding, cost effective practice bullet with identical ballistic performance to the VLR4 hunting bullet
Glider/Rangemaster – G7 profile, High BC, non expanding target bullet
Gilding metal construction with extremely high calibre radius ogive
